Are You My Mother? (TMart meta #1)

#1

Post by TMart »

So I was sitting around yesterday after having caught up on all of my metas for the week, and thought “wouldn’t it be nice if someone created a Mother’s Day meta?” And so I did.

This is my first published crossword of any kind. I have no idea how difficult it is – I think its somewhere around a week 2.5 to 3, but you’ll be the judge of that.

Feel free to PM me with any comments, criticisms, etc. I have a few more in the hopper that I’ve been refining, so if this one works out, maybe I’ll become a regular contributor.

The puzzle is called “Are You My Mother?”, and the meta answer is a five-letter word.

Nice debut, definitely worthy of further "experiments". I would put it closer to Week 2.

Nice! Thanks for the Mother's Day "gift"!

I'm just so impressed and delighted by the quality of the puzzles created by people in this forum. (And a little worried that I'm going to run out of time to do all of them!) There are some seriously smart and talented people here!

(Totally unrelated but I just now noticed Isaac's mask, no idea how long that's been up but hahahahaha omg)

Whew, very lucky to stumble onto the big step. But totally gettable for someone that can access all the meta clubs in their meta bag. Great puzzle!
