#625 - "Sit Down For This"

An excellent puzzle written by one of the innovators of the meta crossword format. It comes out every Friday at noon and increases in difficulty throughout the month. Available for modest subscription (worth every cent) here: www.xwordcontest.com

Week 4 of 5. This week’s contest answer is a 68-Across lyric that sounds like it’s about solving meta-crosswords.

And it's another oversized grid! Good luck, muggles.

Beam me up! At #18 on a week 4. I'm in shock. It's too early to even pop a celebratory Guinness.

Do I need to know anything about 68-Across in order to be able to solve this?

I've listened to a lot of 68-Across and I'm drawing blanks right now

I don't know anything about 68A. I know a fair amount about something else that helped, but you really only need Google (as always).

I'm not sure I'd call this one fun exactly, but it isn't *too* painful :-)

I can tell I like the contours of this one, but I haven't the foggiest so far. Will let it percolate...

Being embarrassingly ignorant in music I feel abused over the last two days. Matt, please, ABM next week.

Well, that was difficult and fun all at the same time.

What do I do for the rest of the quarantine weekend?

I’m befuddled. Weather is much nicer than forecast, so maybe I should just enjoy that.
