Saw a lot right away last night, but then the final light came on this morning. On shore with a smile. Celebrating Gulf Shores High School Dolphins as Alabama 5A Football State Champions today! That deserves a Fairhope “I think therefore I amber” beverage (or two?)

Allow me to brag - my daughter, Rebecca Goldstein, is the author of today's NYTimes and USA Today crosswords. Enjoy!
That’s great!

I’m still with Isaac. I have an idea I refuse to let go of, though that may be a mistake.

Sometimes you see them, sometimes you don't.

I don't.

Hoping for post-enlightenment.............
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

It's probably not. One just has to chew on this one, but its there with no tricks or funny turns. You just have to work it. If you idea is not working then give it just a tiny variation. It wasn't in the exact first place I looked but it was just off center and slightly tilted but basically still the first idea.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

OMG

I don't know whether to thank you or curse you. I don't usually like sugar with whiskies, but I'm going to make an exception.
THIS isn't my kind of drink, but it is semi-related & others might enjoy.
