Yes! First Thursday solve in a while. Grid surprisingly difficult (but they have been lately). Satisfying solve on the meta --very elegant construction.

Guess I'll have first gin and tonic of the season on my flight down to my native city tomorrow --unless they have mint juleps!!

Yay me for the solve!!

On the shore with a summer lager. I had to ponder some of the grid clues and I doubt I could have done the meta without the internet. But it was an enjoyable solve and cool construction.
