Ashore! Metanism came to me in my dreams after I’d put it aside for the night. Fun one, Mr G and all!

Ashore! Yes, this was a fun puzzle. I like the ones that are hard enough to make me put them down and come back to them once or twice but not so hard that I begin to question my sanity :)

I admired the construction a lot, but prefer puzzles where I don't have to look anything up because that requires me to get up from the comfy couch.

Ashore-thanks to brother Bill. He was lax last week-he wanted to watch tennis in Monte Carlo instead of working on the meta.

I have now confirmed that the editors read my complaints, er, comments, here on the Muggle pages. Mr. Shenk, having seen my gripes last week about pop culture, this week [REDACTED]. Gonna ask Isaac to give me something to improve my attitude.

Isaac, ahoy!

Ashore!
I was busy outdoors yesterday, so I thought I'd do this one old school: printed out on Friday morning and worked out over the course of the day (or two or three). Knew what the mechanism was going to be right away, but then had to fill in the grid :|
Wasn't sure I had it all, but the crowded beach is reassuring.

Good Friday morning muggles

A fun meta from Mike and we have 146 on the shore

For @ELSavage and others, posting a picture is easy. First click on "full editor and preview" below and then click attachments. From there click the button "add files". Select your picture and then click "Place In Line" after the picture has loaded. Don't forget to have your cursor where you want the picture as "in line" is where the cursor is.

I resize my pictures to about 200 by 300 pixels to keep them from being too large. Make sure you preview the results.

I don't know...this one was not as obvious (to me, at least) as some of the other recent ones.
I agree it's not as easy as last week and some others, but it was the first thing I thought to try. That was probably the case for many of the early solvers. I expect just about everyone needed some help from the internet to solve it, so that definitely raises the difficulty.

Not getting it at first glance. Have non-meta things to do so I may be the only one on zoom who needs a push!
