Had to drop off of the Zoom meeting due to an incoming business call. But heard just enough to point me in the right direction. Ashore.

Good Saturday morning muggles

First congratulations to James Kirby's (aka @turbotron ) father for winning the mug last week against long odds. The only question is whether James will be allowed to touch it.

Another week with a crowded beach and a lot of "how did Mike/Matt construct that?" So far we have 4 keeping Isaac company and 188 basking on the shore.

With Isaac are

femullen
clonefitz
copperriver
Momo

and on the beach either enjoying the sun or standing in line at the multiple tiki bars are:

Great puzzle today in that the path from, I guess a floating boat (grid filled) to shore (meta), is both challenging, but also non-entropic once you get the right idea (i.e. most of the information in the idea rather than a lot of randomness after that)

I am running behind! I just did the grid today and am pondering what my rise to Muggle stardom should look like.

Since the shore party is large, I hope this will not be too bad.

Ashore with help from the Zoom group yesterday, but forgot to post until now. Seems like quite a crowd has gathered.

On the beach! My first thought is "Not a fan of this one". But I will simmer on it and see if it grows on me.

On the bright side, I've extended my personal best streak to 16 weeks. On the down side, I am weekly growing less fond of upright pianos and honkytonks, having ruined my perfect 2024 during week one. I like to think of it as having hit the first batter I faced, but since then I am perfect through three innings. Still a long way to go, though.... :D

Now maybe I'm in a better position to tackle that Gaffney week four!

I am on shore. I enjoyed that one. I'm still mulling over the MGWCC between hockey and baseball games, though.
