OTC. Noticed something during the fill that sent me on my way.

Off the couch (without nudges), and off to bed. My second solve tonight - stop me before I meta again...

OTC. Nice puzzle!

I read the nudges yesterday but couldn't quite get it. It turned out that like last week's WSJCC, I'd seen part of it, but just hadn't quite seen the whole thing.

This isn't much of a nudge because you'd probably have to be a Star Wars fan and have solved the meta to know what I'm talking about, but I'm adding the spoiler block to be safe.
One part of the puzzle reminded me of a famous line from The Phantom Menace. I bet Darth can guess what I'm referring to.

I must not be using the force because I cannot see the way to exit this nebula...I remain in the Millenium Falcon on the couch....

Here are a couple of "Wednesday" nudges (if you're in need of a boost)...
According to Wookieepedia, an E-11 blaster rifle, the standard issue weapon used by Imperial stormertroopers, is usually fitted with a scope. How you manage to see through the scope or what kind of visual you get might require some imagination! Maybe it was like a large "X" in the center?! Hmmm...

If you're desperate for another nudge: Make it your "aim" to look at the title of the puzzle. Now, be a trooper and search the grid for similar structures. Have a blast!
If that's all too cryptic and you want a straightforward nudge: The title of the Star Wars movie is "Revenge of the Sith" (not "SiXth") so note especially where that X is aimed. Look for similar words in the grid where a letter could be "destroyed". Read the clues and corresponding answers to confirm. Once you've found one, check grid symmetry.

I just want to say again what a wonderfully conceived puzzle this was. I mean this little puppy was TIGHT, from the Title to the Mechanism. The more I look at it....a true joy.

I'm still aiming at the puzzle and not hitting anything. Will try and look with different eyes.
