MEOW #180 Beer Me DrTom and Cap'n Rick

A weekly meta crossword on the forum started by member Josh (aka madhatter5). These puzzles are often very creative with solving mechanisms out of the norm and skewing towards the more challenging. Puzzles are posted every Wednesday, and the solution appears the following Tuesday.

Don't forget the direct messagers! :D
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

FORTY ONE solvers on day 1, and lots with very positive comments. Looks like Cap and I have hit on a theme that resonates! I am going to bask in the glory of 40+ solvers for a while and wait until Friday for nudges since everyone is doing well. However, if you need some prodding feel free to PM me.

The nudges are chilling on ice and will be ready before the weekend. Hopefully this will give a few remaining solvers a chance to say "TGIF!" :D

OTC, but I totally missed the bus (or whatever form of urban transit) and needed one of the nudges.

Always best to take public transportation after a "Beer Me' moment. Thanks for solving Jay.
