The answer to the metapuzzle is a phrase consisting of two grid entries which explains the theme entries' clue numbers.

Fun one. I expect less tearing of hair and rending of garments than has met some pgw metas.

Great puzzle and meta! Lately, these puzzles have been so hard, so I’m happy to be back on the meta wavelength, if there is such a thing.

Enjoyed this one! Felt like part was innovative and part was more standard - good mix.

This one seemed just right. Amazingly clever construction, but (unlike some recent ones) solvable by mere mortals.
