On shore,
Clever puzzle Matt and Peter!

I'll have a Deluxe Supreme Pizza, hold the anchovies and red herrings. TO-GO, of course.

Ashore, and kudos to the constructors. The grid was challenging and a great puzzle in its own right. The meta is nice and neat, not a slam-dunk for me, but very clever and fun. It's all about "happened to notice" my favorite kind.

Those 8 years of kollidge finally paid off. Well, not really.

After many weeks of making sure Isaac's grandchildren's (and their children) will have tuition money, I am at the tiki bar on shore.

Have a good weekend, Muggles

Well, I have solved the Gaffney Gordon collaboration! The AHA that comes with solving a puzzle by TWO esteemed meta experts is indescribable!🤗
Now for my Aperol spritzer on the shore!

On shore.

Just finished zoom with son. (Daughter away for weekend.) I was worried since chemical elements are not my bailiwick. Nice puzzle. Enjoyed it.

This NC Tar Heel is on shore. Meta solved and grid solved. Feels good to be on the beach after 2 straight weeks at sea!

Ashore after a couple of weeks of a wet spell (at sea) and lurched onto the sand almost by accident. I’m sure there is an element (!) of the mechanism I missed, but I’m happy to have found my way to the answer, even if inelegantly. Margarita with salt, please!

Ashore! Splashed about for awhile last night and got nothing. Was distracted by various minor disasters all day today. Picked the puzzle up after finally getting everything under control and (wham!) saw the mechanism in a flash. Looking for a warm, shady spot in which to relax, gaze out to sea, and take a nap. Life is good … 🙂.

Done! Solved the grid this morning and didn't see much. Picked it up again just now, and boom there it was. I'm happy I got at least one meta this weekend!
