Lost at sea. I'm not asking for a nudge just yet but I'm drawing a blank so far.

Two different styles, that's for sure. This one was easy but Matt's metas more often than not remind me of my HS calculus class: staring at the formulas on the blackboard w/ out a clue.

Feeling like a fool.
Finished grid, see no meta.
Customary stool.

Ahoy, Isaac!
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

On shore.

Zoom with the kids last night resulted in a quick solve, leaving lots of time for chit chat. Classic metanism. A little too easy a solve. But gives me time to sweat through the delayed MGWCC. Hopefully the sweat will only be because it's going up to about 90 here in the woods in the Poconos. (Escaped from Philly which will be much closer to 100.) And my fiancée is in Florida (where it's cooler!) for a board meeting. So I won't have anyone to grumble or complain to if I can't solve it easily. I just saw a huge black bear this morning. Maybe he can scare off any rabbits...

Swan lake? :D
Looks more like Swan Swimming Pool.

Go ahead. Dive in with a punny response. I've barely skimmed the surface of this one!

On Naboo. Landed in what appeared to be haze over Helsinki. I guess it was the Finnish line.

Thought I would send a photo to explain my 2-week absence. I was busy making baskets. Lots and lots of baskets. These served as raffle prizes for our education foundation fund raiser. Our Mardi Gras themed event was postponed from our original February date because our venue had started a kitchen remodel which was greatly delayed due to supply chain shortages. Last Saturday’s charity affair was a fun casino night where attendees’ prowess at the gaming tables was rewarded with raffle tickets. We are still waiting for final figures, but hopefully we raised enough to add more schools to our reading mentoring and book distribution program. Our long-term goal is to have this program thriving at every elementary school in the county. Here’s one example of my efforts:

On the shore. I noticed something as I was completing the grid, but because I was interrupted mid fill, I completely forgot about it when I finished. Add to that overlooking something that was right there in front of me. After a slight recalibration it became quite clear.

Not quite sure why this one took me as long as it did (going with "distractions of life"), but I'm safely ashore.

Nice puzzle. Some salty 4-letter words sprang to mind on the way to dry land. Presently ashore.
Though not for long. Too hot. Mrs. C & I sailing in cool blue waters this afternoon.

I think I may be ashore! The wine and water of Italy apparently agree with me! Hopefully I agree with the WSJ.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Remember that Italian water makes rust so stick with the wine over there.

Despite my resolve
Metas have befuddled but
Finally a solve!

My inspiration to shore came during a morning swim off shore on beautiful siesta key.

My trip had fair seas,
And a kind, following wind.
Safe, well and ashore!

(This meditative meta reminded me of our Turks & Caicos Islands vacation a few years back)
