Believe I am beamed up, which is quite the opposite of last week which blew me away rather than beam me.

Looks like we'll have a pretty full leaderboard this week! I'll say 729! Easy, breezy Week 1!

I should be on shore soon. Late start after driving all day ( in Detroit this weekend). Solved down only puzzle. Solved meta before finishing grid.

I'm ready to be beamed up. Come on tractor beam! You wouldn't think aliens bothered with time zone differences...
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

It’s probably the best thing you could admit.

Beam me up Scottie!
I was so focused on completing the grid, I didn't see the answer until after I was done. Once I finished, it was, "Okay, done the grid, now to see if I can figure out... oh... well, there's that... yeah."

Beamed. Downs only and no prompt, which made it hard to guess the answer before starting the grid. Still, it was easy. What's hard is resisting the temptation to post something spoilerish in the comments.

late to the puzzle, on page 2 here, in the high 300s on the board (not yet confirmed, but not really needed to be confirmed).
two for two this week, starts of some new streaks (soon to be dashed).

Delayed start due to focus on Guinness acquisition yesterday (in Dublin this weekend), but solved quickly once I got around to it.

Beamed up (pending confirmation) downs-only, no-prompt, tho I wasn’t bold enough to submit without peeking at the prompt. Maybe next time

Beamed up. Was late getting to the puzzle otherwise would have given the downs only version a try...will go back that next week 1.

Hey, priorities are priorities! This group in particular would understand your choice there!
Hope your acquisition went (down) smoothly.
