On shore. Felt sheepish at all the rabbit holes I tried before discovering the correct one.

On shore. Last night just when I was getting into bed, I realized what I needed to do. So I made a quick U-turn back to the study, found my grid and confirmed that it was the proper approach. The only thing left was to check with Mr. G to verify the singer although I might have very vaguely heard of that singer once.

Didn't get to the puzzle until today but Sam and I solved it in one sitting. Very cute. Can see how this might be hard for some

The "Emerald Coast" from Ft Morgan, AL, to Apalachicola, FL. We'll be in Gulf Shores, Alabama, because they opened up before Florida did - knew we could get the place for the weekend. Water's not quite as nice as farther east, as detritus wanders east out of Mobile Bay, but c'est la vie. It's a great beach, even when the seaweed intrudes.
Such a great location. We are in Gulf Shores area 2 - 3 times a year, and will be there in mid June. Place between Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores - so enjoyable. Can taste the Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass, Hangout and Sea & Suds already.

On shore after a tiny bit of Bing-ing. Good meta idea, but unfortunately it necessitated a bit of weird crossword fill.

Ashore!

I agree that the path to get there was pretty clear.

Ashore in record time for me. Was only halfway through with my Friday night 16A when I got the grid & meta in one sipping — er, sitting.

Done and done. Amazing how a Busch Light or three unlocks the clue (necessary for a linear mind like mine).

Have a great Memorial Day, everyone, freedom never was, and never will be free. My heartfelt thanks to those who gave their lives for our great country--may we be worthy of their sacrifice.

Count me on the shore, quite amused by and reaching for 16A. But in the cabinet I see Jack instead, mull it over and then decide on the Knob Creek...ahhhh
Toes in the sand, humming 'Thank you for the Music.' Happy Long Weekend.

On shore for the second week in a row! The feeling of solving these puzzles is unrivalled! Gin and tonic for me.
