A fun one and very clever indeed!

I just happened upon the metanism while jotting down my observations.

I won't use the forbidden word but is was a most pleasurable swim ashore this time.

MaiTai please!

I had the gist this afternoon but needed the second look tonight. Happy Labor Day weekend to all!

I would say if you're not sure then you're probably on the wrong track. Once you've got it, you should know it.

Don't be in a hurry to submit - this is not a race. Well, maybe it is for some but not for me! My advice is to look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes and you might just find a more satisfying answer.

I have something but it looks incomplete. Pretty sure I am on the right track.

On shore! Busy at work today and also a bit slow on the uptake. But I always appreciate literary themes!

Two in a row!

Reviving this from last week:

“I also don’t use ‘the word,’ but if you see I solved one of these, it probably fits. In fact, ‘Barney got it’ could virtually be a synonym.”

Ashore with @Cap'n Rick’s MEOW mystery novel in one hand and a mimosa in the other.
I can be pretty handy sometimes.

I like metas with a possibility like this: Didn't hit me at first yesterday, saw page 1 chances evaporate, so set it aside. Woke up at 4am this morning with an idea. 30 seconds later, had the answer working from memory. Just a coffee for me please. But rest assured, I'll be back at the bar soon.

"I may do some good before I am dead," I sighed to Isaac.

"You mean if you were a sort of success as a frightful example of what not to do?" I lowered my book and looked at him with surprise. "Minor in English Lit," he added, casually stowing a tumbler. "Try a different title, and you might solve this."

Enjoying coffee in my stateroom, Cruise Director Bob.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.
