On shore. Looking forward to a cocktail tonight before seeing "Mary Poppins the Musical"!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Ashore on a Thursday, a most unusual result for me. Thanks Matt! Clever and fun! IPA me!
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

I’m on shore. Can’t think of any other possible interpretation. Will be interested to hear about that at an appropriate time/place.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Tough grid, I agree with that. On the beach. It was throwing me but then it wasn't.

On shore. I just read all comments looking to see if anyone other than me thought that the answer was a dig at all of us. No one did!

Grid done but nothing’s popping out at me.
Wendy, please count me AT SEA for the moment.

Pretty quick swim to shore from the floating green at Lake Coeur d'Alene
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

Ashore! I had more trouble doing the puzzle than I did grokking the meta, though all my guessed-at letters turned out to be correct (at least, as verified by Doctor Google after finishing).
