Good luck!

Fun and impressive construction. Warning: there are (at least) two good possibilities for (at least) one of the pieces.

Thanks for the pointer, Heidi! This was a good one, although I am very far from knowledgeable about the subject matter.

I'm not knowledgeable about this genre either, but at least Google is! (Heidi)

Fun puzzle! Even with a pretty good knowledge of classical music I still needed a bit of help from Mr. G!

I printed out the wrong puzzle. Talk about a challenge! Now have the correct grid, and trying to decide how hard to work on this, since there seem to be alternates on some of them.

It wasn't too hard to figure out what to google, and so I got it. Hats off to anyone who got this with no help. And as Hector pointed out, there are alternatives (one very plausible) that can lead you astray.

Iām glad for the comments here. I found the first step and then tried the usual reasonable possibilities for the second step. One option came close to a real thing, but only close. After reading the comments here, I went back and found another alternative for the bad piece, and that made it all fit together.
Clever meta, but minus a point for the ambiguity.
