Had to resort to Google on this one. Great puzzle but beyond my abilities! Although, not as bad as last week’s Shakespeare themed acrostic which was a total loss.

very much Enjoyed! This was a new format for me. Row one was last in, requiring a Google.

Got the entire grid, for which retractable highlighters in multiple colors came in marvelously handy for tracing the twists.

I know what the across meta answer has to be, but last couple of letters I can’t place.

Cannot figure out down meta.

Anyway, wonderful fun from my favorite constructor, the notoriously reclusive genius Patrick Berry.

This one was fun. I am amazed at how Patrick constructs these.

Whoa! That was awesome and fun and a welcome diversion!

(Different strokes, I guess)
I guess I should change my signature, and start promoting this meta: Hungry Little Creature. I was going to sent it to people for testing but I dropped the ball on it.

Okay, that was fun! Not as hard in the end as it seemed like it'd be (but seven times harder than the shakespeare themed acrostic).
