Got It In One
Greetings muggles!
You get a double-dose of Aussie meta fun this week. Holes in one are the dream of every golfer. Or so I'm told since I've only ever played 9 holes of golf in my entire life. And I very much did not make a hole in one. Far from it! I remember teeing off on hole 10 (we were playing the back nine, you see) and watching my ball land beautifully in the middle of the fairway... of hole 18. If my friends had let me continue on that fairway, I might have set a course record! Anyway, that experience does not figure into this puzzle in any way. The answer to this meta is a six letter word that has more to do with cricket than golf.
PM me with your submissions or submit on Crosshare. Either way, I'll compile a list of those who successfully solve the meta.

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Off the couch!
Indeed, a nice relatively simple meta after that back-breaking (but fun!) MGWCC this past weekend.

Thank you Ben, nice way to start the week, I always appreciate a good Aussie challenge particularly if it is one I can solve without taking names in vain.
That was quite cricket of you!

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
