ok, now that we're on page 2, I'm significantly stumped, I'm sure there's a fantastic Patrick Berry "click" that just hasn't yet ... well, "clicked".

Ted/Isaac, start pouring.

Anyone else getting an error message that says they're having technical difficulties? Is this some ploy to get me to buy a paper?

Same. It's like there are only so many thing something can mean and... it just isn't any of them. Not even close.
I guess I should change my signature, and start promoting this meta: Hungry Little Creature. I was going to sent it to people for testing but I dropped the ball on it.

Traveling and I don’t have access to a printer so I drew a very crude grid on the back of a piece of junk mail. Making solving about 💯 more difficult. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. 😂

Well, I am traveling and only have my phone, no online form or apparently Puz file means this will be a skip or solve when I get back. Oh well.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

After 3 weeks on vacation across the pond, Mr. Berry is making it very difficult to come ashore. A fresh cup of hot coffee, please, and we'll have another go at it.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been going back and forth for awhile whether to officially join this forum. Often these metas have been out of my league and I felt I just couldn't keep up. When I solved this one quickly tonight - very, very unusual for me - and saw that I could be on page 1, I knew that was a sign to join. First and probably only time I'll ever be on page 1 but I'll take it.
Welcome, Mirage! You've found your people.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Hard one. I did get part of the way on my own, but needed a nudge or perhaps more accurately a shove. Very clever mechanism.

Team Canuck are ashore, The Smarter Half having made the key observation.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.
