Slipped my mind to post that I was ashore until today's Last Call. I have now joined the big beach party!

Our final count is 261 on the shore.

Isaac has decided to have another couple of coats of varnish on the bar this week to make up for the wear the past several weeks. Fortunately the bar is empty but it will be ready for next week's onslaught.

Busy weekend so got a late start. Out of breath after sprinting to shore. Made it safely enjoying an Argentinian Sauvignon Blanc.

Very clean, very neat. All ties together very nicely. Fun and seasonal.

Can you believe it? Maybe this one was especially easy? It’s my first solve!!! The word “tombs” will now always have a special meaning for me. lol

When I signed up for the MGWCC, my first solve was MARTINA NAVRATILOVA - and I've never forgotten that as a result! Keep on solving! It's a great experience.

The clue for 10A reminded me of a favorite book title: "New Hope For The Dead" (by Charles Willeford).

Zero has been done several times. The last previous one was June 9, 2023 with the meta "Couples Only"

Yes, I was expecting exactly that. But then I thought the ordering of the letters might not be clear and many would think it as arbitrary anagram (a no-no). Of course it wouldn't match the title and theme.
