Ashore! Wasn't sure I was going to have much time this weekend. This feels like the trickiest I've managed to solve in a while.

I just restocked the Guinness so let's go with that. Best to all!

Ashore with help. Darn it. again I had 75% and needed one word to bring me home, but needed that word BADLY. Thanks to @Joe Ross for an encouraging word. So I'll lay on the beach but I won't submit.

Ashore! One of the harder ones I’ve solved on my own! A really fun one. Late to the party due to work, but pretty chuffed with myself nonetheless.

Ashore! And what a fun swim!

Did the grid with my kids last night, and saw something oh-so tantalizing. Turns out I was looking at the right street, but in the wrong direction. Isaac's coffee this morning helped me pull a U-ee and see the light.

Unfortunately, he did not prevent me from horribly mixing metaphors. I guess he feels the customer is always right, so long as he tips well.

Still hanging out on the ship, drinking Isaac's coffee. After assembling the clues, I thought this would be easy, but the next step is driving me batty. I still have time! I will put it aside and come back to it later.

My stats have been going down the porcelain vessel lately.
So I’ll sit with Isaac. Think I’ll grab a towel and dry some glasses.
Anybody know what he would like for Christmas?

Good Saturday morning muggles

First I want to thank all my fellow muggles from the midwest and Atlantic coast for the rotten weather that they are sending us tomorrow and into Monday - heavy rain (2-3 inches of rain), gale force winds (up to 50-60 mph gusts) and power outages.

However in muggleland, we have 6 on the ship and 148 on the shore.

Keeping Isaac company and enjoying the seasonal eggnog are:

Good luck with the meta and the grid. If you are stumped either join the Last Call zoom at 8 pm tomorrow or send anyone who is on the shore a PM telling them what you have done and where you are stumped. Based on my rabbit holes and those of the muggles on the zoom call yesterday, I can safely say that there is almost no rabbit hole that you have done which was not discussed on the zoom call.

And as an added bonus on the zoom callse @Wendy Walker has her new dog zoom bombing.

Ashore! I like that once the structure fell into place there was a nice long path to follow to get to the answer. Fun to work out all the details. I solved in bed this morning so I’ll have a cup of coffee with cream 🙂.
