Finally getting around to posting my old puzzles here on this forum.
Please see below for PCC#4 - "Spoiled Rotten" originally posted on Crosshare 08/19/23
[Level 3] Meta prompt: The answer to the meta is a two-word term enumerated (6, 8) that my friend Yim uses to describe her puppy Peanut... all she does is lie in bed doing nothing all day long!
Note: the level is the intended difficulty I had in mind when I designed the puzzle, but may play differently since every solver has their own area of expertise... what one person may find easy, another may find difficult.
Have fun and keep in mind if you're ever lost at sea, google is your best friend (actually, I don't know if you'd get internet service in the middle of the ocean)

Completed on Crosshare and tried an answer which “had” to be it but wasn’t… when I revealed I saw that I was SOOOO close. ( : This animal has the perfect nickname!

Thanks Wendy!! i didn't have test-solvers back then so some of my earlier puzzles may play out a little more choppy... you were sooooo close i rule that you definitely deserve full credit... i shall revise the prompt to specify enumeration (how many letters in each word)HeadinHome wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 10:51 am Completed on Crosshare and tried an answer which “had” to be it but wasn’t… when I revealed I saw that I was SOOOO close. Thanks Kay!! I've been meaning to ask about your sword rabbit emoji for a while... are we killing bunnies now? ... i take it to mean X-word Rabbit vanquished (as in you didn't fall down any rabbit holes during your solve? )

Oh no! Please don't kill the wabbit!
That's just my emoji-shorthand to indicate I submitted the answer via CROSS-HARE. But vanquishing rabbit holes is a great interpretation, too.
(And as is my wont, I stole the idea from another more clever muggle ages ago. So sorry for any confusion )
