On the board! I have one minor nit to pick, but otherwise I enjoyed this one!

I have been chastised and still am working on the mechanism.

This week’s contest answer is something you might say after getting the meta.
So, it's a meta meta?

Amazing puzzle. Sometimes I see a meta puzzle and think “I could do that”. I couldn’t, but I can delude myself into thinking I might. When I see a puzzle like this one, I could not even dream of constructing it. Maybe there is a secret meta puzzle construction book where meta knowledge has been passed down through the ages and Matt has a copy of it. Seriously, this puzzle is a work of art. It belongs in the puzzlers hall of fame.

Beam me up! (Please? not confirmed yet)
Struggled with this for a couple hours last night. Woke up in the middle of the night with 2 ideas for the mechanism. Started implementing in the morning. Neither worked, but mashed together they led to the answer in about 5 minutes.
Funny how this process works. Now to tackle some other metas that have been eluding me this week.
Edit: I’ve successfully “boarded,” or something.

Beam me up too!! Finally got the first AHA late last night, and the rest of the way thanks to a friend.
It's safe to say I found this week easier than last; since I solved last week's about 6 minutes AFTER the deadline.
..uh oh. Does that mean I've run out of excuses to delay my chores?

Well, as per usual, unless it is a week 1-2, or unless I have a nudge, I see nothing. I thought I had a couple of ideas but they turned out to be wisps of rabbit tail hair as he eluded me. Well that's OK, I have a while before I panic, perhaps something will come to me before I have to beg for help.

Solved, with a little help from my friend.

I'd love to say beam me up but Matt hasn't updated the board for hours!
Edit: On the board!

I got Step One, though it took me a long time to catch on to that one. Step Two is keeping at least six feet away and weariing a mask.

I've got something that has to mean SOMETHING but i can't piece it all together. I've been looking at matt's other week 4 puzzles to try to get inspiration.

there's where I am ... I have a path that gives me stuff that looks like it might work, but the other path eludes me and ... I have gibberish.

I’ve stared at the grid for 2 days and I have no clues toward what several are referring to as Step One.
I am kindly asking for a nudge. Thanks in advance!
