Last two in for me were 11D and 7A (you had me a little gun shy after your comment about 7A, SewYoung!).

Looked at it again this morning and wracked my brain to come up with another meaning for "pounding" and finally hit on the answer. I so wanted to have "ort" in there for the "bit of bread". Of course those letters are in there, just in the wrong order.
