Fairly sure I'm on shore. Was getting nowhere yesterday. Chased a few dumb rabbit holes for a while. Had to take a look at it with fresh eyes this morning, and fortunately, saw what I needed to see before too long.

Ashore - took me a while, but it was worth the wait - very clever and satisfying. Now I just have to figure out 20A - fill error on my part or something new to me - TBD

Good Friday morning muggles

It seems like a typical Patrick Berry meta. Solvers either get it quickly or struggle. Right now we have 2 on the ship, a lot digging rabbit holes and 92 on the shore.

and congratulations to @Miki our latest muggle mug winner.

Good luck and have a safe holiday weekend.

Guest in town, so not much time to devote to the puzzle, but managed to find the last piece and make it to shore.

Definitely on shore today! The scotch ale did not provide the same inspiration as a night's sleep and morning coffee. Apparently Jane was at the same place and found the true solution this morning. Submitted x2.
Well done Patrick Berry!

Um... it works and a hundred percenter but as for being tight clinch.... unless I'm missing something, this one is loose. It will flap in the wind and if you exceed 20 mph it'll go flying off.

Jose Cuervo. Lots of ice.
Hundred per center and still flapping in the wind???
I’m still flapping—- er, paddling—-in any case

Figuratively at sea, but sitting on a balcony in Praiano, looking at Positano and Capri in the distance while sipping a nice Friuli chardonnay. The Missus and I celebrated our 30th here on Tuesday. 🍾

I’m lost at 27a. I must be overthinking this ( as usual). Nothing I try is clicking…. Zoom call for me! (And hoping for some post enlightenment 😂)

I finished the grid yesterday, but did not see anything that made sense to me. Looked at it in a new way today and got the first step. Then it took a little while before I could get the other steps to complete the meta. I thought this was very clever! Happy to be ashore!

My 27A is Isaac's bar. Count me among those who just don't see it. Thankfully, we're still early in the weekend, lots of time left to clear my vision up.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

20a also makes no sense to me in relation to the clue, but the downs seem clear so... *shrug*
