I don't know why but this made me laugh embarrassingly loud.

I think I’ve figured out a few things, but I would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction!
Edit: solved with a few hints. What a cool puzzle!

Beamed up and absolutely loved the "aha" moment of this one. What an incredible construction

Awaiting the beam... [Only with nudges, I'm afraid. And there's a "week 5" coming up. ]
... and I'm beamed at #112.

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

A challenging, but rewarding multi-day solo solve! Beamed at 108.
Hardest part of this was how many insights were required to find the mechanism. What a journey…

I think I am 4/7ths of the way through step 1! Kinda like 1/14th of a fortnight! Still plugging with what I thought was an encouraging start...
Update: Beamed! Very interesting puzzle. Needed some muse-like inspiration to get over the finish line.

My puzzle sheet is full of scribbles, but it was a thought I had while Away From Puzzle that led me to the answer. Waiting for morning beam-up to add to the board.

I agree with the high praise for this puzzle. This feels like the most satisfying solve I've had of a MGWCC puzzle. Well done, Matt!

Wow! Saw much of the important stuff while filling the grid but kind of stumbled into the key that pulled it all together.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Beamed! Very difficult one this week. However, despite the frustration and difficulty, it was an incredibly creative mechanism. Hats off to Mr. Gaffney!

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

I see the first thing but not any more! I’d love a nudge if anyone would be so kind at this late moment.

Beamed up thanks to some helpful nudges. Cool puzzle!
My 500th overall solve! Mostly solo, but not this one.

Really hit this one out of the park, so to speak. A four-bagger, you might say.

Shoot. Got the four countries but never noticed they all had 7 letters and we were looking for a 7-letter answer. I even noted some of the odd wording of what turned out to be the clues he used. But so many rabbit holes, including seeing that ARIELS anagrammed to Israel (which showed up when I was looking for what countries bordered JORDAN). Plus being able to insert IMAC into the P/H rebus square in JAPAN to get/anagram the Jamaica; one of the countries we were supposed to find. And so on. So. Many. Rabbit. Holes. I traveled the entire world, albeit underground.

It's Gaffney's world, and we're just living in it. What a puzzle!
