Slurred Lines (by Chris Adams and me)
Hey all,
I've constructed my first crossword puzzle ever thanks to Chris, who I think is one of the best mostly indie constructors out there if you care about clean fill. Coincidentally, it's a meta, so I thought you might enjoy it. Here is the link: http://arctanxwords.blogspot.com/2020/0 ... tekin.html
This is not a contest puzzle, so it's ethically unambiguously OK to ask for a nudge if you are stuck. Feedbacks are also welcome! Thanks.

Fun youthful grid. By youthful, I mean, "I DON'T KNOW A LOT OF THIS STUFF! I MUST BE REALLY OLD!" But I got there without googling.
Meta seems intriguing. Only rabbit holes so far. I'll re-visit later today.

it's doable even if you've never heard of the song/artist.
"Lots of planets have a North", the Ninth Doctor.

In my case, I had to do a lot of googling, but then when I ran across it, I was like, “Oh yeah, why didn’t I think of it?”
Good one!

Very enjoyable! And it turned out to be a song I do know pretty well!

Fun puzzle! Some stuff I didn't know, but it was gettable.
1990s songs are not my strong suit, so I definitely needed google for the meta.

Finally got it with Google. Definitely-remember-hearing-it-at-the-gym type of song, but I wasn't familiar with it in the requisite way(s) for the meta. But it's entirely fair, and nicely constructed.

I'm kind of surprised I got it. Though one of my favorite bands has a fun cover of it, which I just found and watched.

Got it. Tried to get there without Google for a couple days, then succumbed. Taking some pride in the fact I chose the right song to google, rather than getting there a more direct way. Aside from grunge, this was not my favorite musical period.
All that aside, the cluing and grid here were fantastic! I wish some of the clue patterns had been used for the meta.
Great puzzle!
