Right there with you! Please pass the pretzels.

Solved after a brief diversion. I agree with those pointing out that this is a good introduction to metas since it uses several of the typical solving techniques, and is very enjoyable when you see how it all works together elegantly.

Good Friday morning muggles

A fun meta from Mr. Shenk. Right now we have 2 keeping Isaac company and 134 on the shore.

Good luck to your final four teams this weekend

On shore, a little bummed that I did not make it in time to be included on the first report. :D

Didn't see it last night, but took another look today, and there it was! Ashore.

One of these days I’ll have to look on Thursday to see if I can make an early page 😬

For now count me ashore with a Jameson double — neat.
Thanks to all the muggles in this group. Participating is the highlight of the week!

I didn't see anything at first, so I thought this would be another failure for me. Then I said to myself, "I know it's a long shot, but let me try this." I tried that, and I got the answer. I never would have solved it without noticing something in particular.

On shore!

Reading comments regarding the difficulty of this meta, or lack thereof, helped me rein in my solving strategies. I found some very interesting, if short, paths to peruse.

If at sea you're feeling queasy,
Come ashore. The bar is sleazy,
But the beach is bright and breezy
and the meta-puzzle REDACTED.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Finally sat down to this one and am still lost at sea. Go White Sox!

Edit: Oh wait. I made that way too difficult. On shore.

I typically do the mon-thurs puzzles (usually looking up a few of the answers) but I'm trying the Friday contest ones again. Got the grid filled but having trouble with the meta answer. Will probably take a break and look tomorrow but not feeling confident haha.
Usually found struggling with the meta late Saturday and Sunday night.

Ashore,
though I do see a second answer that may trip a few people up.

Ashore!

Would like to claim that we didn't get to it until today, but the reality is that it took this long to see it (embarrassing!)

Ashore along the Vltava in Prague. I'll have a Pilsner Urquell.
