Okay, so I downloaded this one after a 12-mile early-morning hike and poked at it for a bit, but I badly needed a long nap to bring the little gray cells back to life, after which I swam lazily into shore. And now I’m looking for the cabana boy: I need coffee and a Danish!

I took a walk (only 1 mile, but I took my 14 lb cat with me in his backpack) and a nap, but it didn't help. Any other suggestions?

Looks like Calvin got the same backpack George has, the Jackson Galaxy one. We chose that one because it has a higher capacity (some of my cats are chonks), has the optional bubble, and converts to a horizontal carrier with a strap.

I usually use the bubble with George. It gives him a little extra room, plus he can lie down and peer out and not have to stand up to see where we're going. He doesn't jump out because he's wearing a harness that's clipped to the backpack.

I'm on shore! Very clever! Took a short detour to ask for validation that I was on the right path, I was, yay! That's a nice little boost to the confidence!
