Confident that I am off the couch this week. Fun puzzle. Solved it in my magic front passenger van seat coming back from shopping. Never fails me!

Metanism … I love it! Have Muggles been saying this? Or did you just coin the term. (Sorry, I’m often oblivious.)
I think HunterX started it.

Off the couch! Clever, but the final answer wasn't a satisfying click.

Off the couch! Nice one! I used to get Patriot's Day off work when I lived in MA, now I'm sad that I have to work today :-)

Off the Davenport (sofa created by the Massachusetts furniture company) and confirmed by crosshare! Great one, Cap'n, and a wonderful way to start off the week!
This puzzle incorporated several things that I was taught by fellow muggles. Thank you, my friends!

Off the couch. I guessed at the answer and then found the final "metanism" to confirm.

I am not sure that I followed 24 down to the letter though.

Off the couch, confirmed on Crosshare - thanks for the puzzle, @Cap'n Rick! Fun as always. Like @Laura M, I used to get Patriot’s Day off when I lived in Maine AND I also have to work today

Apparently, @Cap'n Rick and I have different definitions of fitting, since mine initially brought me to a different answer (which Crosshare did not like.)

I got the "correct" answer.

I understand @Anita's less than "satisfying click."

Wow this was a cute puzzle. Took me a fair minute to find the meta but to be honest I don't understand how it's "fitting"? Anybody able to explain the connection for me?

Edit: Thanks to Rick and Kay for the responses! A classy solve.

Nudged off the couch. Definitely a tricky puzzle for this Aussie!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Funny how once I get a wrong idea in my head, I can't see the obvious answer. But when I came back and did see it, I had to smile.

I stand corrected (since I am off the couch, I cannot very well sit down, now can I?)

Now that the mechanism has been pointed-out to me, I feel the puzzle is quite clever, and I just lucked-into the answer.

Well done, @Cap'n Rick!

That's 51 including test solvers. Not bad. Let's see how many more Muggles we can get across the finish line.

Excellent puzzle and very fitting (pun intended) as I am on the train home from Boston. Thanks for the fun on the train. Solved and confirmed on crosshare

There seems to be a fine line between what some solvers see as "clever" and others see as "cute." I suppose that, as more of a newbie, I thought it was VERY clever! :)

How about "Cleverly Cute" (and hopefully Consistent!)?

The problem I see with that description is that when "cute" is associated with "clever" it is generally has a negative connotation, as in "don't get cute with me." :)
