Ready to beam up! I don't know about "easy" but it was easier than the usual Week 4. Proud of myself for finally abandoning an unproductive but tempting rabbit hole to find the right path on my own; I can't always make my brain let go of these things!

As a card carrying mycophobe, I find the clue for 38A an oxymoron.

Now back to solving the meta.

Almost forgot this was coming out today… I’ve submitted and awaiting my ONE HUNDRED badge!! Glad I saw this one quickly… woulda been a nail biter to get so close and not bring it home. Huzzah!!

I got beamed up. Yeah, I found this much more straight-forward than last week's puzzle. But not everyone will see the same things.

Easy peasy indeed! Really liked this one, and I especially enjoyed filling in some entries that don't often find their way into crosswords.

My only issue is 11-Down: Please keep those INSIDE!! They destroy ecosystems when given free rein of the outdoors.

Beamed up, after a late start (note to self, rallying at the pub in early afternoon does not bode well for functioning at crosswords later in the day).....nice week four (although it kinda felt week 3ish), but good way to finish out the Month.

I can see why many found this "Easy-Peasy." I didn't find it quite as easily as others. But once you spot step 1, it flows quickly, and is fun to finish off.

Anyone up for tossing out a very gentle hint?
I've done the fill and now- NOTHING. Nada. Total blank.

Okay, so for those of you old enough to have any clue what I'm talking about, and young enough to still remember, this puzzle had me feeling like an underground comix character. You know the one.

Yes, they indicate current streak level achieved. An incorrect submission removes the badge & a player restarts at zero.

My solving buddy (MM) and I have submitted with a huge amount of support from one WLW. Not close to a solo solve. We found it not easy and (what is the word for not peasy?)

But we are ready to move on to the next meta
