My dad solved quickly after a round of golf. I needed one nudge from him to get going. Ashore!

Ashore looking for an open spot on this crowded beach. Thanks for throwing us a bone Mr. Shenk. Well done! I'll have a Russell's Reserve neat.

On a personal note, this little girl just turned 6 this week. Hard to believe! Happy Birthday Baroness Thatcher!

Ashore! I had nothing the first 8 times I looked at it, and then jumped right out when I went back once again.

Ashore. I’m sorry, but this grid was not up to the Shenk standards I’m used to. That said, I will graciously accept and proudly display the mug upon selection on Monday.

A helpful Muggle shoved me off the boat and straight onto the beach. A little jarring, but it was good to know I had started looking in the right direction but had simply given up too easily. Maybe a solo solve *next* week? :-)

They say your memory is the second thing to go when you get old. I forget what the first thing is.

Totally forgot that yesterday was the puzzle.

Happy belated birthday to all you teens and pre-teens who celebrated yesterday.

I actually know two people that turned 16 yesterday.

Now on to the puzzle, if I can remember where I put it...

EDIT: On the very crowded beach. Fortunately there are barstools reserved for us here: https://ruthschris.com/waikiki/

Bombay sapphire, think about vermouth, shake 21 times (it's a Ruth's thing) two large spanish olives. 39 1/2 years and counting on Fridays.

Just a word of advice: Spelling is quite important when hoping to solve a meta. 🤦‍♀️
And sometimes mathematics too…
