Got it, first time in awhile. Weird thing is, didn't have a Submit button in either Firefox or Edge, so I hope my email works so I can't get a mug again.

Happy Easter to all, and Happy Easter from the younger daughter's cats.

Ashore! Guessed the mechanism early but took me longer to actually see it 😛 Had fun with this one!

The white cat looks like it has a sad face emoji on its backside!

D'OH!

Or maybe something unprintable from Roy Kent.

On shore, with head hung low in shame at how long that took, secondary to some truly humiliating grid errors.

Happy holidays everyone, and to every rabbit who presents obstacles to hop throughout the year!
Our golf group went there 15 years ago and stayed right off the 18th fairway. A great course to play and each year I bore my wife telling her what I did on most of the holes.
Haha! I also bore my wife every year with tales of the shots I made (and those I didn’t - only one par!) at the course in my avatar. Hopefully, your score was better than mine!

After many weeks at sea, the light bulb went on after only a few dead ends. Nice to be ashore again!

On shore after hearing from a fellow muggle that I had screwed the grid up a little (Thanks HunterX)! Great one, Mike! No mug for me this week!

Oh you basically had it. Correct a grid entry here and... voila! So submit your answer.

Then, when you win the mug, send it to me. ;)

Finally ashore! As I worked more and more backwards from my first realization it finally hit me. Phew. Happy to be back on track after last week's failure, haha.

Long road trip to be with family this week.
Didn’t even start the puzzle till last night after the grandchildren fell asleep. I was relieved to see the path to the answer very quickly.
Double checked it this morning;
Ashore and submitted!
Great construction!

Last week we had an "Isaac's Last Call" Zoom meeting for people who wanted to work as a group on the puzzle and talked about doing another one. It seems that this Sunday most Muggles have vacated the bar to hunt eggs on the beach, so a last call may not be necessary.

In any case I forgot that the Padres are a late start today, so I will be at the ballpark at 5PM Pacific instead of here. But anyone can hop into the Zoom Room at any time by clicking the link, so anyone who has fallen into a rabbit hole can organize a meet-up through this board.

It looks like several had spelling errors in the grid, the correction of which helped to reveal the solution. I know I did. It will be interesting to see if the errors were in the same word.

It's been a busy weekend so I wasn't sure if I'd get around to the puzzle this week, but I finally did and I am ashore! I was shocked that the first metanism I tried was the correct one.
