Love it...on shore after discerning a minuscule error that was throwing me off.

Ashore. Very Gaffneyesque. The Rabbit abides.

At last. On the swim in, I would hit on a sandbar and think I was ashore, then realize that more lay ahead. Another sandbar, and then another. I didn't find it difficult, but I'm in awe of the ingenuity.

I'm at the two shoelaces stage. Don't know how to tie them together. .... (wait. Is that something one wants to do?)
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.

My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

OK now that I am not taking up any more Page 1 real estate I want to gush about this one. Sometimes I think we get through to the AHA and email WSJ and post all in a hurry (I did so before my last case today!!) and don’t stop to just admire the work. But wow Matt outdid himself here. I am just so impressed with how this all comes together. It’s more than an AHA, more like an OH MY!

Hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did. Thanks Matt!

Stay well all

Late start after doctor’s appointment but safely ashore—Guinness would taste good now.

Went down a few rabbit holes before finding the shore. Followed an approach that I was sure was right but ultimately it didn’t quite work that way. Impressive how it all fits together in the end!

On shore, finally. Wow! That was something! I think I made it even harder than it was by starting at what I guess was supposed to be Step 2 and getting so entrenched that I couldn't figure out how to start over from the beginning. And then I realized I only had half of Step 2. Or at least I think that's what happened.
