Ashore! No rabbit holes in the waves this time, just a calm sea all the way in … 😜.

That's the good news. The not so great news is I spent a few hours (several actually) in the ER this week. I'm fine, but it seems that drinking is going to be a no no. Sad. So my problem now will be to see if, when sober, I can tell if all of you are being your normal hilarious selves. Meanwhile, y'all have a drink by proxy.
Boharr, I hope you realize that by "liking" your post we are just glad you are back home! Hope you are feeling better soon -- obviously you are well on the way to recovery if you've reached the WSJ beach!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

I am on shore. But what kind of RUbe schedules a doctor's appointment for the exact time the puzzle drops-- that would be me (smh). Fortunately, I FOUnd the first steps quickly. But then the bunny started SHOwing up. But I've leaRNEd not to follow it down winding ROutes that would take paragraphs to explain!

I'll have Kahlua and cream as a little nightcap.

Guessing I did the same. I think there's a bit of a gray area.

Ashore after a quick paddle! I started a new job a couple of weeks ago, so I can only start these after work now.

Stumped for a while, but then everything cleared up, and then (briefly) stumped again and then laughed out loud when I got it. The weather report says we are getting something between 2 and 60 inches of snow...

I’m ashore. Nice to dream about the beach with the freezing temperatures outside.

Looks like NYers perceptions of Chicago LOL.
Ok not funny.

I got caught up in a financial website for a few months and I am now thoroughly sick of the topic of $ and financial planning. Eager to get back with my crossword peeps here if you’ll have me back.

I promise to cool it with the poetry. 😅

I love how Matt tipped his cap to the bartender this week - and to all of us who have spent time with him.

But not today! I swam ashore comfortably.
