Wonderful, clever puzzle! Got a late start because IRL I'm at the Big East track & field tournament -- Cole's running the 10K this evening!
EDIT from the Proud Aunt: Cole was the top 'Nova finisher in the race and cut 18 seconds off his previous PR. Yeah, that's 6.2 miles in 30 minutes.
But what was even more heartwarming was observing the sportsmanship and camaraderie among all the athletes. Good kids.

Ashore. Grid was a bit tricky, but the meta was a doddle. Beer me.

Ashore! When I got to the puzzle a couple hours late and we were already on page 4 I thought I might have a shot. I surprised myself with how quickly i saw where to start because it's the kind I'd've struggled with before you wonderful people taught me the ropes.

Back to work for me so make my Guinness a Guinness 0. I'll follow up with something with tequila at tomorrow's happy hour for a good friend. Hope y'all have a great weekend. Stay safe and be well!

On the beach. Love the twisty way this solve finishes up. Go from Aha! to Huh? and back to Aha!

Ashore. 🏖🍹 Homemade burritos tonight (BF specialty). (And after reading page 1, I might have to see if a Root Beer is hiding out somewhere around here...).

Ashore.

(Always glad to be done on Thursday. My first thought on reading what the answer was supposed to be was correct.)

My oldest daughter says CVS boxed wine is her favorite. She also said "Sweet Home Alabama" is her favorite country song.

I cut her some slack because she's home between traveling nurse gigs and she's made dinner three times, lunch a couple times and has scratch-baked bread and blueberry muffins. Enchiladas tonight, y'all!

On shore! As usual, very clever
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Ashore, but only with some much needed guidance from @boharr. Sometimes you see them, and sometimes you don't. In any event, G&T tonight. I think I've earned it.

Got it. Enjoyed it.
I knew my answer just had to be correct but didn't feel great about it. But then I realized that I erred in an association and once I realized what I should have seen right away, I felt a lot better.
