I hope and believe that this is not a spoiler, but I think there is a meta-mechanism-related error in the puzzle that does not really make it any more difficult.

Took me a while. But got it, I think. (Have to think like a mad hatter)
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.
My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

I did not have any problem downloading this one.
But earlier this month, I was traveling and printing puzzles on hotel lobby computers, and a couple times I was unable to print from google drive because it was a 'security risk'. Totally baffled by that. Can't imagine why a pdf from there is any different than a pdf from anywhere else.
As for this meta, I see the first step but haven't yet figured out where to go from there
