"First World Problems" by benchen71
Welcome to...
benchen71's Metas on a Tuesday (MOAT)
Can you storm the castle by getting across the MOAT? There are some very funny first world problems memes out there: "I have three monitors connected to my computer, and I can't find my mouse cursor!" (see https://www.boredpanda.com/first-world- ... s-twitter/ for some more). You will face your own first world problems in this meta puzzle. May you find your way to the meta answer, which in this case is a real problem, not a first world problem.
The easiest way to submit is on Crosshare (and you get instant feedback and unlimited attempts!) But you can also PM me with your submission. Either way, I'll compile a list of those who successfully solve the meta.

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Took just the right amount of noodling, but moat crossed, castle stormed. Thanks Ben!
After solving this "world" challenge, I return to deciphering where Wendy is in it!

Clever meta, Ben. And a reminder to put my own first-world problems in perspective. Thanks!

Very important to put things in perspective. Thanks, Ben, for the reminder - and for a great puzzle as well!

Crossed the MOAT. I had an inkling of what to do with the
starred entries but could not make it work. I took my recumbent trike out for a couple of hours and figured out what it had to be and where to find it. Great meta. Better message.

Nice and very distinct AHA moment.
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.
My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

Across the MOAT and languishing within the castle walls. Got lucky and saw my way immediately. Nice job Ben!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Crossed! Stormed!
And reminded too of how lucky my life has been to never have faced a problem like that.

Finally! Moat crossed, castle stormed, problems solved (well, not all of them -- just this meta). Thanks for the puzzle, Ben!
