Today, April 9, marks the first anniversary of the launch of www.xword-muggles.com. In honor of that, I made a meta puzzle called "Paper Anniversary." It silly and whimsical and just meant to hold you over until 4:00 when the real meta comes out.

The answer to the meta is a four-word phrase. The bonus answer is a three-word phrase.

I add my thanks to you for this forum....but so far am not seeing any rabbits OR tunnels.

I too am seeing no rabbit holes or rabbits, let alone a rabbit plus a bonus rabbit. But I'll keep at it! Looking forward to the explanation on Sunday in any case.

I finally got the 4-word, so now I have to look for something obvious? OK!

I have the four-word phrase (pretty sure) but no idea on the bonus!

Update: Post enlightenment--now I've found both parts. Very nice!

I think it's pretty cool that some people can find the three-word phrase but not the four-, and vice versa. That's a sign of a challenging, but solvable, meta.

So in 44 minutes, I will have been here for exactly a year. I thought I might have been one of the original castaways (I was like the 4th person to "introduce myself," but that was in the second go-around of that thread), but looking at the list, I'm about 50th. I had 3, then 4, now 7. And it all makes sense.
