Well thankfully I had my ears on when Good Buddy Jimbo gave me a breaker because I was a real Alice in Wonderland and was going to end up as road pizza. Thankfully he had my back door on this one. Swimming to shore but not submitting. See you on the flip flop, over and out.

Count me ashore but sleeping in the cab cause I don't deserve the beach.

Solved grid Thursday night and since then, zzzzzzzzzzzzz nothing.
It’s OK. Beautiful sunny morning, blue sky, and pizza/salad dinner day!
(I’ll keep working on it. 😃)

Ashore!
It's holiday season by me. Busy celebrating, mid-Succot.
It took me longer than it should have.

I needed Muggle-Nudges but got it finally. Thanks you guys! Great puzzle from MS.
If I’ve solved and you need a nudge, you can PM me. Happy to pay it forward. ;)

While I like both (the former perhaps more than I should), I have to ask... um... not in the same glass, I hope!?!

That would be a concept too dark and stormy for me.

So I gotta ask; what is your favorite region? I am an old world kind of guy, mainly France and Italy. If I had to narrow it down to an area from each it would be Rhône and Tuscany.

My favorite region is the one where my wine rack is, or the closest open State Store.

Can't believe I just put the words "favorite" and "State Store" in the same sentence. I must need some serious help...

Not seeing a bloody thing and am almost to the point of needing to ask for a nudge.

I wanted to make my high school latin joke about "Civili Derego" about trucks but I figured i really should solve the meta before cracking wise.

Not a meta, but, yeesh!, that was tough to create.

On shore, finally. I got step 1 quickly. Step 2 took quite a bit longer, with a few rabbit holes along the way.

On shore! I really liked this one, very clever! Looked at the grid off and on since Thursday night, and finally AHA a few minutes ago.

You know how sometimes you just look at the puzzle and look at the puzzle...and put it down, then look at it again...and then, finally, like a bolt of lightning, it JUST HITS YOU, and everything just falls into place, plus that whole "wow, I can't believe I didn't see that sooner" thing--heh, always such hoot--I mean, you know?!??

Well, this is not one of those @#^%ing times.
(Still on this ship, and it's at least some consolation that Isaac and I are now singing camp songs.)

Hi all. Hope everyone is well.

I am at a hotel 🏰
I hope everyone is well
The hotel doesn’t smell
The views from my window are swell 🌅

I am traveling for work
My boss is not a jerk 🤠
A raise is a little perk
I haven’t had time to lurk

How is the hotel food?🍔🥓🥩🍳🥪🥗
I’d say it’s really quite good
It doesn’t taste like wood
Some of it is stewed🥘🫕🍝

I gained a little weight
I hope it isn’t too late
To get that to abate
So I can get back to size eight🧘‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️

Miss you all, my peeps!
