Oh, so that's why I was having difficulties with the grid initially! :P
Lots of fun, and reminded me of what I sometimes (usually erroneously) can't help but do when looking for meta mechanisms.

Same reaction here. Meta experience was helpful. Definitely worth sticking with it. Ingenious concept expertly executed.
