MEOW #60 Divine Punishment

#1

Post by DrTom »

Good Morning all you cat chasers! Whilst our Josh is laboring on trying to become Dr. MEOW some of us minions have attempted to keep you entertained with some amusing mind candy.

The MEOW today is brought to you by yours truly and is called Divine Punishment. Knowing me you can imagine what is going to happen here.

The meta answer is what the pursued pussycat swore she had been. I’ll be available to tell you whether the cat is bagless or not. I’d imagine this to be a calico at best, so not terribly fierce but cute and full of mischief!

Your prescription - take one MEOW and PM me in the morning (or afternoon or evening)

I am so thankful to Claudia and Tom for keeping the cat alive these days!

However I cannot keep relying on them and the Spring semester will not be any easier for me so there will likely be an interregnum at some point unfortunately. I'll keep everyone posted.

I am working on the grid but have found a new definition for purgatory.

Being tied to a chair and having to endure Dr. Tom's puns - forever.

I am sure that I am off the couch but awaiting confirmation

Confirmed by the church mice

Thanks Dr. Tom for the fun. The cat scratched his way out of the sack and is under the sofa.

Like @Schmeel said, it's not my wine or wafer, but I thought purgatory was temporary until you get to The Good Place?

Awaiting confirmation (like the choir boy?)

Was that a meta for a metaphor?

Edit - Confirmed

Normally it is but in the world of puns, temporary can be a very long time.

So you are longing for more puns???? I don't know about it being a long time, but I do know that its a long way to temporary, it's a long way to go....

Well now, it appears a lot of you have jumped on the answer. You probably didn't have a pencil so you used a divining rod?
