Since I was getting nowhere beyond the first step on Matt’s puzzle I thought I’d take a break and do something else. This week Evan has provided a small puzzle suite. It’s a meta, but not really a crossword, but who cares what you call it—-it’s a lot of fun. It’s also not a gimme (what is today?) but not horribly hard either. Highly recommended!

Ditto!

I’m not getting MGWCC either. But this WaPo suite by Evan B. was truly a blast. What a construction!

Here's the pdf-- both outstanding and amazing!

This was really cool. One thing to know: the version printed in the magazine cuts off the very bottom row of the clues. The PDF version is correct.

Printed this out to enjoy this week during work breaks. Just the right amount of time & challenge in each one for a coffee break! Did the last one yesterday and saw the final answer. Fun collection!
The other Wendy.
