I never meta puzzle I didn't like. Best of luck to you on this one! I'm thinking Level 2 to start, which apparently means Level 37.

41. TASTES Just Like It!

The answer to the meta is a bar food.

The deadline is Monday, November 7 at 1 PM ET.

---

Good luck, and may all your solves be beautiful!

Solved! Some excellent cluing in this puzzle, @MikeyG (as always!)
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

A guy walks into a bar and asks for fruit punch.
The bartender says, “Sure. Just get in line.”

The guy looks over and gets confused. There’s no punch line.

Tasty grid, but level 37 sounds about right for the meta :? So far I got nothing. I think MGWCC broke my brain.

It's time for some sweet, sweet nudges!

1. The fact that TASTES is in all-caps in the title must mean something!

2. Let's treat that as a word in the pattern ABCADC.

3. That probably means something about the letters in the grid!

4. And if the grid isn't giving us much in the way of letters, there's another place to look!

5. There is also an Easter egg in the grid if you caught it to confirm your solution!

Reveal on Monday with a puzzle that following Friday!

I HATE it when the spoiler tells me "you know that thing you said HUH about, there was a reason". I will never learn to follow my nose.

Nice puzzle and nice pirouette at the end. Enjoyed it as usual. I do have to stop making a 1.2 into a 3 though....

Thanks Mikey, you had me smiling and chuckling as per usual.
